wish every day could be like sunday.
we had another busy & awesome weekend. i really need to come up with another word besides awesome to describe things. how about rad? we had a rad weekend. we ran errands, went out to eat, i shot two family sessions, went to a three year old's birthday party & slept in til 9:30. thank you sam.
but my favorite day? is usually sunday. especially the ones where sam gets the crazy idea to make something new for breakfast. this sunday was buttermilk-chocolate-chip-pancakes. from scratch. yeah, that happened. have i mentioned my husband's favorite food is all things breakfast food? i like that about him.
sundays are usually spent in our pajamas ninety percent of the time... the other ten percent we dress up for church. so then that means after church my hair is all done, i'm makeupped & i've done something with my day. but i'm right back in my pj's. i like that about sundays, too. there's something about lounging around in baggy sweats & a t-shirt with cute hair... am i right?
what's your favorite day of the week?

ReplyDeleteI would have to say either Wednesday or Thursday. Those are my hubby's days off, so we actually get to spend more than a "hello/goodbye" with each other. Now that I am expecting our first child that time seems to be more precious.
ReplyDeleteParker's "come-hither" look with the toothbrush is so adorable!!! I can see why weekends rock so much when you get to spend them with that little dude!
ReplyDeleteAdorable pictures! My favourite days of the week are Wednesday's, Thursdays and Sundays. :)
ReplyDeleteTotally agree. Sundays are the best!
ReplyDeleteI love my Sundays too - the hubs fixes breakfast and then we lay around all day. It's awesome.
ReplyDeleteOh man you're totally right. I love lounging in sweats with cute hair and makeup on. I probably take more trips past the mirror than necessary. Or... maybe that's just me :) Also, love the B&W shots!
ReplyDeletesounds like a perfect sunday to me!! i need a sunday like this!
ReplyDeleteSaturdays are our Sundays and I also wish every day were like it. We usually all sleep in until 9, roll out of bed and hit up a local eatery for breakfast, and then run errands until church at 5m. After church Noah usually spends the evening with one of his grandparents so the huz and I can catch a movie or get a drink with friends.
ReplyDeletei enjoy sunday, but only every other. sometimes it's tuesday or thursday. when ever hubs is off that week is our sunday, usually spend in pajamas if not running errands or hitting the park :)
ReplyDeleteThe pancakes looks really nice, I'm sure they were. the photos you took, make it even more delicious!!
ReplyDeleteyep. sweatshirt and cute hair. my favorite sunday afternoon.
ReplyDeletemy only downfall is my hubs works sundays right now. talk about throwing a wench in your weekend plans.
boo
My Husband loves making choc-chip pancakes too! Aren't they delicious? I love Sundays too for that matter but only thing missing is my hubby. He works weekends so Sunday is not my favorite day of the week. My favorite day is either a Wed or Thursday. His days off :)
ReplyDeletelove lazy sundays!
ReplyDeleteoh man, those chocolate pancakes look so good. thanks for some inspiration..got to make these this weekend. breakfast is my husbands favorite meal too!
chocolate chip pancakes.. yum!! :) i wish everyday was sunday too..
ReplyDeleteI like sunday's, too. Although I have to admit, I don't usually do my hair and makeup for church so when I lounge around afterward, I just look like a scrub in scrubby clothes. Ha ha.
ReplyDeleteI am beginning to love Sundays more...we now get together with good friends every other week for big family dinners. It's never too stressful and always fun!
ReplyDeleteThose chocolate chip pancakes look delicious! And you sound like my kind of girl--I love getting all dolled up, going out and doing something fun, and then coming home and slipping right back into my pjs! It's the best. :)
ReplyDeleteYup, Sundays are great! The only day I feel no guilt for not doing work in some form.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, that toothbrush picture! Parker is so saucy!
ReplyDeleteThat toothbrush photo is so adorable!!! I love Sundays as well. It's the only day you're allowed to be laid back & make no excuses for it. I must try to create my own buttermilk choco chip pancakes :)
