i told you. summer in the pac-northwest starts on july fifth. and hooray, it happened! oh my gosh. these are the days i live for.
it's been in the eighties the last few days. repeat after me... eighty degrees!! that is hot here, friends. this is "get-out-your-sprinklers-it's-too-hot-to-cook-let's-hang-out-in-the-park-&wrestle-in-the-shade" kinda weather. so we did.
and when i said it was too hot to cook? i meant that we skipped dinner & went out to frozen yogurt, instead. because it's summer. and i'm pretty sure in the summer frozen yogurt has no calories. especially when it's flavored like cake batter & loaded with cookie dough, raspberries, oreos, & peanut butter cups.
yeah, that happened.
how about making a couple votes happen? i'd love you for it. i really do.
Love the photos! I just voted for you, I hope you win!!!
ReplyDeletewhoa! I WISH it was in the 80's here {high 90's-low 100's}!! have I said this before...Parker has THE best smile ;)
ReplyDeleteYay summer! Haha I'm totally with you :) too hot to cook and frozen yogurt for dinner sounds awesome!
ReplyDeleteYesss! Summer days are the best, and 80 degrees is just about perfect. :)
ReplyDeleteI love summer but I not Louisiana summer. 80 degrees is cool for us. We are in the 100's right now and have been for some time. Plus, the humidity makes it even hotter. It's horrible. I think I might need to make a trip to where you are. :D
ReplyDeleteI would kill for 80 degree weather!! I live in Texas and its been 105+!!

ReplyDeleteI know I am in the minority but I love summer. I love the heat. It makes me happy because I hate being cold and I am cold during fall, winter and spring. Summer is the only time my husband says I don't have icicle feet =)
