it's never happened before. just when you think you know your kid's routine, he goes & does something like this. plops down on his blanket, mumbles to himself for about ten minutes, & then passes right out.
he eventually woke up to the sound of my camera in his face. oops. he was still super groggy & after showing no interest in food, i gave him a bottle & put him to bed. at seven. maybe he's growing? maybe my little p-ray is trying to bust out of that twentieth percentile?
who knows. but he sure was beat. he even let me rock him for ten minutes after downing his bottle. maybe my little boy still has a bit of baby in him after all.
two clicks for sleeping babies? yes please!

ReplyDeleteEllie has done that ONE time, and I think she was only a few months old (tummy time is exhausting).
That's so sweet that he let you snuggle him! I'm dying for some baby smuggles right about now ;)
Enough with this cuteness!! I love the newborn pose he's doing with his little bummy up in the air. Oh P-raaaay make my heart melt. Navy is forever yours! ;)

ReplyDeleteLove it! I secretly enjoy those random nights Christian hits the hay early. I think it is b/c they are growing, so the next morning when he wakes up I always say, "oh my goodness I didn't think it was possible, but you are so much bigger and so handsome!" I just pray he's taller than his 5'1" momma.
ReplyDeleteaw. love. sooooo freaking cute. my little babes has been under the weather a tiny bit and last night he sat in my lap for an hour... an entire hour {this coming from the kid who cant sit still for 2 whole minutes}. it was heaven.
