steppin' out saturday {to portlandia}
wow, shop at target much? apparently i do. and to my friends who may have seen me in this outfit already once this week? ignore this post. although, i never claimed to be above recycling an outfit for different places around different people within a few days. sue me. {or call me practical}.
sam, parker, & i drove south & had a blast exploring portland this weekend. we walked around downtown & i fell in love. all over again. i always have a good time when we visit portland, but this time sealed the deal on our love affair.
we spent some time in the pearl district, an old industrial area that has been converted to shops, condos, parks, & restaurants. the street cars whiz by, people walk their dogs to the local dog park, there's a coffee shop on every other corner, it's home to bakeries, cafes, ice cream shops, & the largest independent bookstore in the u.s.
i want to go to there. again.
want to see what other mamas wore this weekend? check out steppin' out saturday hosted by mandy at harper's happenings. it's fun!
and your continued votes continue to be appreciated. the votes & rankings at top baby blogs have been reset & we could use a little boost.

ReplyDeletehey! if you ever get the chance, there's a place about 25-30 mins west of portland called "horning's hideout"...i'm not sure how to really describe this place, besides the fact that it's a place in the woods where peacock's walk around freely...it's amazing. the first and only time i visited portland, we went to a music festival there and it was such a beautiful and amazing place, i'm sure P would be so intrigued by these awesomly beautiful animals! :)
