p-ray & i ventured out for a run today since it was freakishly warm & sunny here in the pnw.
one of the things i love most about a good run is that i can use the time to clear my head & think. cause ya know, parker & i don't get into too many deep, contemplative conversations on our outings just yet.
however, my thoughts aren't always super deep or contemplative either. for example, today i was thinking about how i always run faster & with better form past creepy looking dudes. why? because if they're looking for someone to abduct, they'll pick a slower & more tired looking victim. you gotta think of this stuff.
so, since i run faster & harder when surrounded by creepy looking dudes maybe i should start running down dark alleys or through dark parks. seems logical.
i'll let ya know how that goes for me.
in the meantime, how about a vote? click, click. you're done. thanks!
Ha ha I like that logic! Sounds like something I would think of!
ReplyDeleteLogic is dangerous, don't do that! You made me giggle :D
ReplyDeleteSounds logical to me! ;)
ReplyDeleteI love his hat! And his cheeks. He is SOO darn cute! :)
You're better than me. I would think, "What am I doing out here running past creepy dudes?? I would be safer sitting on my couch." :p
ReplyDeleteI have the same thought when I am running!! I won't be venturing to any creepy areas of town to run, but I do notice that I run better around creepy men.
ReplyDeleteI always run better past other runners but here we don't have too many creepy dudes, they are usually kinda cute runners. Once I was running past a particularly cute guy and waved and then tripped and tumbled to the ground. He came over to see if I was ok. So embarrassing!
ReplyDeleteI feel the exact. same. way. Whenever I'm getting my jog on I'm totally torn about this...Do you want the creepers to see you being your most perfect jogger self? Or as an out-of-shape weakling? I usually go for the perfect one...
ReplyDeleteJust visiting from Mingle Monday! Love your cute blog! Check me out at www.poodleism.com
Haha, Shelley, that's funny...and totally embarrassing (and something I would totally do!!)! :) Hey Amy, who is that two-year old chunk you're holding?? Because that doesn't look like a 5-month old to me!!
ReplyDeleteHa ha! You are funny. I love his little cheeks.
ReplyDeleteHa! I did the same thing today- passed a guy with a big thick, black mustache, and thought to myself "any man that doesn't at least have some kind of beard attached to his mustache is more than likely some kind of molester/ predator"... and quickly sprinted past him ;)
ReplyDeleteThat so sounds like something I would contemplate on a run! Your baby is adorable in that pic. Love your blog!
ReplyDeletesounds pretty good to me! cute picture :)
ReplyDeleteHaha, good luck with that. :O Cute pic!
